Students - Su-Ha-Ri
An explanation of Su Ha Ri
- Su - A beginner must copy all he is taught from his Sensei
- Ha - After years of training, when he has advanced into the black belt ranks, he may develop techniques of his own, as long as the fundamentals have not been violated
- Ri - All Karate moves must be natural reactions. When attacked the Karate-ka must react instantly without thought or premeditation.
